Lawrence heard about Lily and her family when he was little but never believed it was true. Lawrence went through living life normally with his sister and parents, until one day everything changed. One day someone broke into their home and turned them all. (More background on that later, not important) Lestat, and his wife and children all were changed into vampires. Some of them got powers and some of them did not. All were equal though that they needed blood.

Eventually they figured out what they were and began finding others like them to join with, so, their coven slowly grew and grew. One day Lawrence was out hunting when he found a women lingering in the forest apparently lost. Lawrence, his hunting instincts leading him attacked but stopped when he saw the women was pregnant. Lawrence for some reason immediately pulled back. The woman, who was human, told Lawrence that she knew what he was and would tell the whole town, if he didn’t do what she asked. Not wanting to get his family in trouble, he obliged and gave into her demands. That night was the night he learned about Lily, and the favor to the women was that he was sworn and going to protect her. Since Lawrence did attack the women, she was turned, therefore her baby was too. They were both vampires. From then on their coven grew and Lily’s mother found more like them.
Sixteen years later Lily learned what she was, really what she was and met Lawrence. They fell in love, and he is now known to her as her protector. Lawrence and Lily continue to meet without the knowledge of their covens, but what they don’t know is the siblings have found out. Lucinda has found her brother out and ratted him out as well. The Amberville Coven now has one mission….to kill the Everwoods, especially Lily. Lawrence knows something is up, but not the whole story. The whole Everwood family is prepping for war, but are they prepping for the same one that their daughter and sister is the center of? No. The Everwood’s know nothing of the Amberville’s plan, all they know is that there are wolves out there that also have it in for them.

These two clans of vampires are on their way to destroying one another, and being destroyed. Can they be united by the love of their children to come together to fight one common enemy or will this all end in bloodshed that only vampires are the cause of?
